All things start from reason and inspiration and it seems to be the driving force that gets you to where you are at to where you wanna get to. It's good to share your stories, experiences, and opinions here. Other practitioners of the discipline might have their wisdom enhanced because of the wisdom you have shared. "SHIRING IS LABING"

Since the beginning of my training I have always idolized David Belle and Sebastien Foucan. They were the big people who I looked up to as well as icons in the discipline to follow. They paved the path for us and enlightened us about the discipline. They created and refined every technique in order to conquer obstacles efficiently. They are the pioneers and the frontliners of the discipline. Truly, they are the masters of the discipline.
2 years or 3 years ago, the very first time I saw Sebastien Foucan was when he was being chased by James Bond in the movie Casino Royale. I also saw David Belle on some chase scenes in the movie District B13. I researched about them and through that I later on knew about Parkour and practiced it. Until now, they are still the people who I look up to in the discipline.
Though I may have David and Sebastien as my idols, I also have a reason that also serves as the deeper kind of inspiration. I have the drive to enlighten myself and strengthen myself physically and mentally in the discipline to be able to help myself and others in times to come. Though sometimes I give in to not-so-friendly Parkour thingies, but hey what the hell.. there ain't nothing wrong with having some fun once in a while. HAHAHA! With genuine reason as your fuel for inspiration, the fire of your passion will never burn out.
And here comes the group.. I didn't expect that we could actually form a Parkour group here in Cebu. I didn't think anyone around Cebu was interested in Parkour when I posted my video up in Youtube but the opposite happened. The group got big! It's good news and it's something to be always excited and inspired about.
My new inspiration is the group! It's nice to jam with people who share the same passion. I like the sound of laughter burst around the spot while training to become stronger and wiser by the day. The beginners are those that fuel me up the most. New people means new people to teach and the more you teach that sharper your skills get. And also, new people would mean new hopes for the discipline to shine at the same time bring about its genuine philosophies here in Cebu.
I like the people who make the group. They tend to help each other, teach each other, nurture each other. The group is young and it should grow strong. I see it grow stronger but we must never forget our roots and our reasons. We inspire each other and that's whats good about this group. ;D
